I found a forlorn French chair at a local auction for under $10! It was in pretty bad shape, but I made it into a planter for the front porch!
The potting bench was made from two separate pieces I found at my favorite junk stand! Apart, each piece wasn't worth much - but together, they worked perfectly to make a little potting bench for the front porch that look great alongside the chair.
For the top of the bench I added a vintage watering can, some rusty tin buckets with flowers, a chippy frame, a bird's nest, and a DIY music sheet pinwheel.
To complete the look - I added a vintage egg basket and wicker bee skep to the bottom shelf, and a large oval tin bucket filled with more flowers on the ground.
Enjoyed the project?
