We live very close to the beach and my four year old is the ultimate beach boy. He LOVES to feel the sand between his toes, explore the tide pools and ride the waves! His room is filled with treasures we've found on the beach and antiquing.
When we moved in. His room was pink and he sure wasn't happy about that! Here is the before:
Now it is a very pale green. We color matched Farrow & Ball's Pale Powder and used Benjamin Moore paint. This color goes with anything and is so very restful. His room is filled with one of a kind piece. A driftwood height chart, subway sign chest, a map wreath etc.
A grain sack dresser:
This is most definately a room where you can smell the sea air.
Visit the full blog post for more details and to links to DIYs which created this look - boat hook curtain rod, Driftwood Height Chart, Grain Sack Dresser, Subway Chest, Decoupaged Sailor Dresser.
