Dry Brush, Dab and Dibble a Mirror With Chalk Paint®by Annie Sloan
by
Big White Goose
(IC: professional)
Yesterday at the Goose, I had a quiet time, and this poor sad mirror had been staring at me for a few days. It was a bit damaged, lost its luster and gilding in places. I had already fixed her up where I could before I started. Then I had fun with Florence, Old White. I dabbed and layered the paint, all that is needed is waxing. She is so pretty now. I am tempted to take home, but I won't.. I just love it when Chalk Paint®by lovely Annie Sloan does such a job so quickly and dry's very quickly when you dry brush or layer. If you are around or near Canby tonight- its our first Friday- wine, and nibbles will be in our shop if you fancy popping in. There is live music at the back of our shop too put on by Pappy's the Greasy Spoon.. bless him.. I always tell me people I paint with a glass of wine in one hand and bloody paint brush in the other.. now I can add a jig to that tonight.

Before you put the teal paint on large mirror, was it gold. I have a similar mirror and love yours especially the colors . Did you use chalk paint for both colors.
