DIning Chair Makeover With CeCe Caldwell's Beckley Coal and Wax.

by Kelly Sherman Design
These chairs were a custom request from a client. She had just moved into a new house and wanted to match the chairs to the island so they looked like they belonged. We went CeCe Caldwell's Beckley Coal applied with a sprayer for a very smooth finish. To seal the paint, I used CeCe's wax. The same was used on the raffia like seats which really took the paint well. I used wax on the seats too and buffed them with a shoe shine brush which was gentle enough but also got in all the grooves.
The before picture.
This paint gives such a natural looking distressing.
One of the armchairs complete!
