Okay I had a scrap block of wood leftover from my outdoor table project that I couldn't just throw away.
But what could I use it for?? It's a 2 by 6 board 7 inches long.
Then it hit me. I need a place to write quick notes and reminders next to the computer.
A Chalkboard Note "Pad."
Rustic and "burlapy" to fit my farmhouse, cottage and cabin style.

I used a white craft glue that dries clear to hold the burlap in place and keep from fraying.
I realize the hot glue will not hold on the chalk for long but by the time is comes off I'm hoping I'll be ready for another piece of chalk.
Burlap on the sides, Perfect!
