A $15 Solution when you have limited space to Garden and BBQ. - A work in progress...
As most of you know, we just renovated and moved into a 1964 Single Wide Mobile Home and have limited space everywhere, including the backyard. I wanted to be able to have a few garden & BBQ tools stored nearby for easy access and was not sure just how to make that happen. I found this wooden shelve unit (that was meant to go on top of a kitchen buffet table) at a thrift store for $10 and brought it home.

This morning I realized that it would fit on the fence behind our mobile home. After mounting it with two hooks, I rummaged around the tool shed, looking for something hook I could use to hang additional items underneath. Guess what I found?

Curtain Rod hardware! They stick out just far enough to hang larger items, like the watering can; but not too far to catch you as you walk past. I plan on mounting several more so I can hang my hand trowel and a few other hand tools once I find them.

Of course that means cleaning out the tool shed and organizing it - which we have put off as the last big project after finishing the interior of the house. For now - I just stuck some curtain rod ornaments here and there to catch the sun.

I'll post once I finish this cute little garden/BBQ outdoor space saver!
This style Curtain Rod holder works really well for holding those garden hand tools.
This style is excellent for double layering and also for larger item that need more room between the hook and the fence or wall.

Who would have thought? Curtain Rod Hardware could double for organizing your garden and BBQ tools.

Gotta love it!
