We knew the next step for our kitchen remodel was going to be demoing the island. It was taking up a lot of space, and would open the area up to give us more room for the renovations. We tackled this project easily in a couple hours!
The island gone! Our dog Penny was surprised and perplexed! It took her a while to realize that she could walk thru where the island used to be!
The before! An island with no storage, it had to go!
Halfway thru the process with the laminate countertop removed.
After removing the countertop, trim and drywall.
