Cucko for Cranesbills - Hardy Geraniums A Favorite in the Garden

A short article about hardy(perennial) geraniums and the many varieties in my garden. Most of them bloom for a long time. They have fragrant leaves and the leaves change colors in the fall.
Geranium Rozanne was the Perennial of the Year in 2008. This one gets rather large and will fill an empty space in the garden in no time.
geranium phaeum ‘samobor’ has beautiful markings on its leaves so that it looks good even when its not in bloom.
Geranium 'Johnson's Blue' was the first one I fell in love with. It has a nice meandering habit and beautiful blue flowers that bloom for most of the summer.

Douglas Hunt on Jul 06, 2014They are great garden plants. I had "Samobar" growing in my New York garden and it got lots of attention and I never had a problem with it.
