I am so honored to have been ask to post my tea pot yard decoration for Hometalk. I joined the group about a month ago and truly am amazed with everyone's beautiful yards and flowers. I love to garden and love Yankee baseball so I made this my Red White and Blue Yankee garden.
I went to thrift stores and the Dollar Tree store hunting for blue and white plates, vase and a teapot. I filled the vase with small pebble stones to make it heavy enough in case of a strong wind. Then I used clear silicone caulk to hold it together. I caulked on the top of the vase and then set my plate on top let sit for about 1/2- 1 hour to take hold so your pieces doesn't slip and slide around. Then add your next piece. I used glass candy dishes between my plates. There's endless items you can use. It's all about your taste. Then I topped it off with the Tea Pot cause I love and collect Tea Pots.
So that my friends is how I made my tea pot totem! Happy gardening everyone!
