Remaking an Old Farm Table
by

After being given an old craft table, we decided it would make the perfect farmhouse dining table.
The table had been covered in adhesive contact paper and layers of paint. But it was a sturdy table with great shape.
After using a blowdryer to remove the contact paper, the stripping began. All in an effor to get down to bare wood for a deep dark stain.
The legs were given a fresh coat of paint and then distressed for that "purposely weathered" look.
Check out the full post for more pictures and more glimpses of the finished table in its final resting place (for now).

Like the bench and the whole room, very inviting. Look like lots of work, but certainly shows amazingly well, what a great idea for gifting, blessed indeed, most don't even want Grandmas' quilts anymore. The picture frame is beautiful over the buffet as well as all the other decor.
