Repurposed Children's Book Toy Lamp

I have many, many old children's books in various conditions. So I decided to use some that had seen a lot of "love" over the decades.
A lamp shade I bought at an estate sale tops everything off.
I used a retro aluminum party cup to top all of the other parts including the vintage top spin top below it.
I mixed up books that had different colored covers for more diversity.
Each one was screwed into the one below it to hold the heaviest part of the lamp together securely.
The bottom book was screwed into the base to allow the unique passage of the cord from the side.
Bring on the colors!
How about some circus clowns on the vintage toy spin top!
