With all of the renovations we're doing in the house ( a complete gut job from floors to ceiling ) it just wasn't in the budget to buy outdoor furniture - which can be over the top expensive.
So when we came across this wood table for $50.00 I knew it would serve my purpose perfectly. ( we were picking up another item and the seller mentioned it was being put on the curb side if we didn't want it - curbside? landfill? I don't think so )
I whitewashed the entire piece ( half Annie Sloan pure white and half water ) and called her done!
It took roughly 10 minutes to do ( not counting the protective coat of water based polyurethane I still have to apply ) but it can easily seat 10 people - 4 on either side - 1 on each end. I also added fairy lights to set the mood for the dinner party we'll be hosting this weekend. ( Hope it doesn't rain because the interior of the house is nowhere as nice as the outside at this point LOL )
Enjoyed the project?
