Summer Snack Solutions for Kids + Quick Fridge Organization Project

When my kids are not in school they seem to eat everything in sight. Seriously. I can go grocery shopping and every snack in the house is gone in two days. Summer can be a little rough on the grocery budget!
So I came up with the idea of making individual snack bins for each of my kids. I fill them up on grocery day with things like string cheese, yogurt, fruit, pretzels, and trail mix. They are then in charge of monitoring their own eating, because when it's gone, it's gone. This has been a real life saver for us during the summer!
But I did have a small problem with fitting the snack bins into the fridge at first. My fridge has this really strange lower shelf that is very tall, and it can be annoying. It's more annoying during the summer because I get so much fresh produce. Unfortunately, I have tended to lose a lot of it because it gets lost in the pile at the bottom of the fridge. Yuck--right?
So, I bought a bin to organize my produce. I can just grab the whole thing out of the fridge and see things much more easily than before.
And the kids' snack bins fit right next to it perfectly! (I actually have three kids, and the third bin fits in front of the other two--it just doesn't look quite as nice.)

I am forever being criticized by my boyfriend for being "disorganized". I think you just solved my problem!
