My deck area is right off my kitchen which makes it easy to serve up a great dinner for family and friends.
This is the view from my patio door. I love that our deck is surrounded by trees which helps with keeping the deck area cool during the Texas hot summer months.
I instantly fell in love with my dishware for my deck. I found the plates and the large platter at Ross and at a great price. The blue mason jars were a steal of a deal at Walmart!
The white apothecary jar works perfectly on the table setting because it serves as a candy jar. The star-fish are actually citronella candles that I purchased from TJ Maxx. I just simply to a tall clear vases filled them with faux lemons then added in this branch twigs...quick and simply decorating.
When I started this project I knew exactly what I wanted to fill in this space. I envisioned a table that would serve as a dual purpose....buffet table as well as a console table for decorating. Two white stone pillars purchased from Hobby Lobby and a piece of glass did the trick. Now I just simply added my decorative green canisters and the driftwood decorative piece.
