Powder Room Makeover- We Moved the Door!
Our house was built in the 80's...that's the only explanation I have for where the builder put the powder room door. We gave our small bathroom an easy makeover complete w/ a new entry location :) Come have a look!
When we moved into this house 2 years ago, there were a few issues. One of the biggest was the placement of the powder room door. Ummmm, it was in the breakfast room, sigh :)
We finally had enough when at a party someone didn't lock the door and a little person opened it...with a kitchen full of people! The Husband cut out another door on the opposite side of the powder room.
And did a little sheet-rock work to close up the gaping hole in the breakfast room.
While we were at it, we painted the walls with a beautiful gray - blue (Behr Ultra Premium Paint w/ Primer- color: Rhino) and added rustic shelves over the toilette.
A vintage mirror - painted in creamy white.
An old stain-glass window.
And in a few days something that really bothered us is fixed!
