I used Royal Design Studio's Cheetah Spots allover stencil in our upstairs hallway to add interest & pattern in this space.
BEFORE of the upstairs hall painted in "Daplin," ( an older Duron paint color that you can have mixed at Sherwin Williams, but I had mine mixed in Behr paint at Home Depot.
Stencils are really easy to use by marking the register marks with an "X" in a black Sharpie marker. The register marks come diagrammed on a photo insert with the stencil.
I mixed these acrylic paint colors to achieve an off white/oyster color and applied with Royal Design Studio's stencil brush.
The end result was a pretty neutral pattern that resembles an antelope pattern, which was my inspiration.
The stencil also resembles wallcovering without the hassle, and is so easy to change if you grow tired of it, or desire a different look. You could always go back to a solid paint color, or try another stencil, which Royal Design Studio Stencils has many to choose.
The Cheetah Spots allover wall stencil from Royal Design Stencils was a great product to give this upstairs hall an update. I also love the way it acts as a neutral and compliments each upstairs room! For more pictures, resources, & details, visit my blogpost.
