Cleaning Grout

Lysol toilet bowl cleaner worked wonders on my dingy grout in my ceramic tile in our small half bathroom. The previous owner never cleaned it. Should have taken a before pic.
I poured a bead of cleaner down the grout lines then took a small wire brush and scrubbed.
Ta-da!
After first wiping up with paper towels and then mopping the grout looked white again! (Use in well ventilated area and test on small inconspicuous spot first for color fastness.)

I just want to say a word of caution-do not get this on your bathtub or other surfaces because it is an acid and will etch into the bathtub. I had a relative who cleaned her tub this way and it literally ate off the porcelain finish.

Oh no!! Trust me I have a jacuzzi whirlpool tub so this would not be used on it!! Just the grout on the floor!! Thanks again! Will let you know how it worked for my grout
