Organizing Spices
My spices were all squeezed in a basket over my refrigerator. This was very impractical. I finally got around to organizing them. Take a look.
I decided I wanted to store my spices in clear jars so we could see the spices. After searching on-line and coming up empty handed, I headed to Walmart. There I found these nice jars. They are the perfect size.
In the bathroom accessories department, I found this stand. An unexpected surprise.
In anticipation of one day finding the perfect jars, I bought these Martha Stewart labels. They were on clearance at Staples, quite awhile ago.
The rest was simple. I just wrote out my labels, filled my jars and labeled them. I decided to label the top rather than the front of the jar.
Total disorganization
Perfectly organized!

I realize other have a zillion spices. Obviously they would need more room for storage. If you checked the entire post on my blog, I do mention that these are only the ones I use daily. These are not all my spices. If I read something I don't agree with or won't work for me I usually just move on. I agree with you. It would be nice if admin would monitor comments.
