How to Paint a Ceramic Tile Kitchen Backsplash (And How It's Held Up)

When I redid my kitchen about three years ago, I painted my kitchen cabinets white. The tan tile backsplash just looked wrong when I was finished, so I decided to replace it. Before I started the demo job, though, I thought I'd experiment with painting the tile to see if it could be done. I painted them white, and three years later, I'm reporting on how they've held up. SO much easier than replacing the backsplash!
