Vintage Rusty/Green Tool Box Gets Some Pretty Decor
I often pick up rusty old vintage things because I love the look the rustier the better. When you give them so décor you can only imagine where it would look best. With just some homespun material, faux flowers, raffia and a bird on a limb stencil It would take front and center on any shelf. Also useful
The long narrow thin shape is interesting on its own. I can't help wonder what was originally in this box.
This decorating was done without really harming the vintage piece
I tried some old cookie cutters and that was cute
Colored glass also looked very nice, I was also thinking candles or silverware. You may want to scan your garage and sheds you may have treasures at your fingertips.
