Sweet Tortilla Chips

These sweet, crunchy, snacks are so easy to make and well worth it. All you need:
4 flour tortillas
sugar
cinnamon
melted butter

Make cinnamon sugar by mixing together some sugar and cinnamon.


Turn oven to 400 degrees. Cut flower tortillas into 8 wedges.
If you have a pastry brush, brush your wedges with the melted butter. I did not have one so I just dipped it in. Make sure you coat both sides. Dip buttered wedge into cinnamon sugar coating both sides.
Lay the wedges on a cookie sheet making sure they are not touching. Bake at 400 degrees 4-5 minutes on one side then turn. Bake another 4-5 minutes.


Note: Don't get too distracted while these bake. They will look not quite done one minute and the next, they are charred. Ask me how I know...;)


These chips are so sweet and crispy. Imagine them with vanilla ice cream or crumbled as a topping for apple crisp. Mmmmm.
