Looking for a workhorse perennial with white flowers.
Phlox panicluata 'David' keeps on giving and is not subject to some of the problems garden phlox often get like powerdy mildew and black spot. Blooms for weeks.

I'm a big Phlox phan (plus it has a really fun name).

I love "David" in a white garden, but I found that in my mixed-color border those brilliant white blooms "punched holes" in the design and I ended up digging it up and giving it away and planting a lot of "Eva Cullum," which is as nice a pink as "David" is a white.
