How to Make a Fabric Pumpkin From a Milk Jug

What do you do with an empty milk jug? You make a Pumpkin! I looked at my empty milk jug and realized it resembled a tall slender pumpkin...which is my favorite kind! Since I had a scrap of orange geometric fabric, I decided to wrap it around the jug, added some rope and a stick for the stem and a pumpkin was born! See the full tutorial at http://www.houseontheway.com/fabric-pumpkin-milk-jug/
A fabric pumpkin with rope detail and a stick for the stem.
The orange and white geometric fabric gives the pumpkin a fun trendy look.
While wrapping the fabric around the jug, I used hot glue to attach it.
Rope around the top helped hide the opening of the jug and was the base for the stem.
A simple stick from the backyard created a natural stem for the pumpkin.
Decorating for Fall is easy when you use objects that you already have!
