Tree Stump Coffee Table

I drive by this tree lot everyday and kept noticing the mound of stumps they had and inspiration struck. I've always wanted something different for my coffee table and new a few of those stumps would work perfect.
I love the rustic feel and texture these brought into my living room.
I bought 5 stumps for $20. I used the ones were seasoned and dried...and that the bark would come off easily on :)
I then primed them, painted them, and sealed them with a ton of coats of poly.
I could have left them natural, but I knew I wanted a few of them white. I'll figure out something to do with the other 2...maybe sand them and just seal them.
These are always a conversation starter when guests are over!

I'm disabled and worry over the weight. I see the table has some splits. Wonder if you could drill out, take some of the wood out on the inside, so not so heavy. Or you think it would split all that thru...eventually
