Oh I bet that makes you enjoy it all the more! -
Beautiful!! -
We're eventually going to renovate the kitchen in our 1899 farmhouse - it's nice to see what others have done! -
What a great redo. I am totally jealous of the tin ceiling...and I like the cute bunting on the fridge. Beautiful. -
Thanks Kelly, that bunting is some magnets I made myself using a tutorial from Cathe at "Just Something I Made". they look like little cheese labels. -
This is an incredible makeover!! I love the different wood tones and your dining room ceiling is amazing. Well done! :-) ~Vanessa -

Love the frosted glass on your laundry room door. How did you pull that one off? -
It is 'frosted glass' vinyl, I designed it then had it cut at a sign shop and applied it myself- it can be changed if I get tired of it but I really like it! -
I just love it. Gosh, I have a door with window like that and we have a local sign shop. -
It looks great!

Just one word from me and it is: WOW"" -
I was afraid to look, fearing the integrity of the kitchen would be erased. Not so at all. Beautiful job. You updated it without making it too modern for the house. Congrats! -
I love, love the tin ceilings & the copper sink! -
2 stoves and no venting for either one?? might want to rethink that idea, but beautifully done. -
Breanna, the new cooktop has downdraft venting, there was no venting in the old kitchen only. -
Roanna, thanks so much, I love my old house and really wanted to keep it's character, but I really needed it to "work" better. I'm glad you think I was able to keep its integrity because that was what I wanted too. -
I do believe that kitchen is the most beautiful room I have ever seen! Love it! -
the before pics remind me of my kitchen... -
Beautifully done!

Beautiful... Was it expensive to renovate... -
Peggy...what is expensive to you? We saved a long time to be able to have the kitchen we wanted. This old house was worth it and so are we. -
Awesome, well thought out, and well done re-do! A great modernization w/o sacrificing the home's character! You guys rock! -
Quite a beautiful job and so very practical. -
Thank you Bart, we have been living with this kitchen for over a year now and can attest to the practicality. It works so great and feels so cozy, we spend more time in this room than any other room in our house-besides the bedroom;)
