Crystal Beads

Have bought an air freshener a few times, and 'crystal beads'' are one ingredient...was going to refresh, and took one container and ut it into te sink, filled with water, and they all plumped up! Soo, I rescued some, and put back in container, but should I put essential oils AND another oil, or what?? HELP..I feel like I fell into heaven, and can make them for others too perhaps....
