Stained and Studded Pumpkin

Turn a plain craft store foam pumpkin into a glossy, glam piece of fall decor. Two steps - you'll love how easy this is!
Get a faux pumpkin and a package of upholstery nails (I got mine at Lowe's for $1.30)
Get a can of Minwax Polyshades. I used Espresso Gloss.
Paint your pumpkin with the Polyshades. Once its dry, then you can embellish it.
I laid out the nails in the pattern I wanted, to check on spacing and make sure I had enough. I didn't. I ran back to Lowe's...
Press your nails into the pumpkin.
Stand back and enjoy the prettiest pumpkin you've ever seen. And the best part, it won't rot when the season is over. :-)

Love the stain color. Approx. how long did it take for the stain to thoroughly dry on the faux pumpkin?
