We turned our very small 6 x 6 ft powder room into a full bathroom by moving a window and some plumbing. Here is how we did it.
We wanted to create a guest room and guest bath downstairs for when my parents visit. They don't do stairs very well anymore, especially my Dad. Both my husband, Frank and I are from Denmark, but we now live over here, in Orange County, California. My parents visit us from Denmark from time to time and usually stay 3 weeks.
For this purpose, we also turned the downstairs powder room into a full bath for our guests.

This is what the bathroom looked like before. It had a vanity and a toilet.
This is the new floor plan we came up with: Move the window over, add plumbing for a new vanity where the window was, move the toilet over slightly, then add plumbing for the shower where the old vanity was located. Sounds so easy in a short sentence like that, doesn't it. Well, well.
The toilet roll holder is really a door knob too and you can open the shallow cabinet behind it and there is just enough room to store a bunch of toilet rolls out of sight.
