How to add storage
-
Regina on Sep 28, 2014hi: I go to the thrift shops and look for hat boxes. usually $1.00. They are great for storing things and they can be used for a decorative piece too. I even use some to store my tools. ReginaHelpful Reply

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Sep 28, 2014Dressers are a great way to store things and in a small space can look pretty too. Using boxes you find that will be consistent in size or stackable and cover in fabric, contact paper, or wallpaper is a great way to add both storage and décor to a space. Lifting your bed up with bed risers or other things to have room to put winter clothes and extra linens is also an option. Make the most out of your closet space by creating double rods and boxes again for storage. If you can put up shelves, think about shelves too with baskets to hide socks and other unmetionables. this is just a few ideas...Helpful Reply

Jeanette S on Sep 28, 2014Think up! There are great ways to use wall space. Boxes turned on their side make an enclosed shelf when attached to the wall above doors...great in bathrooms. A nice 12" deep shelf can be put above the window and all around the room for storage baskets or bins to hold out of season clothes and extras such as sports equipment.Helpful Reply
