Bringing a table outdoors ...if you don't have a table you can move, make one w/ saw horses and ply wood or simply invest in a 6 foot folding table and cover with a drop cloth!
Create a little spot for photos...we have years of family photos and now all of our tiny children dress in their Halloween costumes and we take a yearly "Cousin Picture"...
Having games and fun things for the kids to do is an easy way to create those sweet memories...adjust your activities for the age of your guests! ***Pumpkin Carving Contest is GREAT for pre-teens through twenty somethings...we did that for years...Chili Cook Offs are great for young married couples who enjoy coming up with their "signature chili" !
Whatever your activity...always have some prizes! When we did Pumpkin Carving Contest (before there were kiddos) I had a trophy engraved one year, Starbucks gift cards, Target gift cards...it doesn't have to be expensive- but everyone loves to compete for a prize...****of course now that there are little ones ALL of them get a prize!***
