The holidays are coming closer and I stamped my first wrapping paper. Anyone who has some chess pieces and felt lying around at home might want to check out this tutorial for the easiest and coolest stamps ever (If I might say so myself ;-)).
Finished stamp and stamped wrapping paper.
Tools and materials: A pair of sharp scissors, a good adhesive (I swear by epoxy glue but others will do just fine), a garland or similar made out of felt from a dollar store...
...and chess pieces.
Because I rather wanted a star than a snowflake, I have cut the flake and then simply glued it to the underside of a chess piece.
As color I've used ordinary stamp pad ink and for my wrapping paper, I simply stamped the stars regularly on brown packing paper.

This is amazing! I’ve also seen where you can reuse lids from soda bottles and glue stamps on the bottom of those. I’m always s inspired by all of your beautiful crafts!!!

I like your idea of using tall chess pieces because then you have a handle to really pound those designs. ☺️
