Heleniun and if you keep the dry flowers for the next spring you can plant them and will have a new one... I made 4 plants from one.....
Hellenium... it comes in dark red or dark orange... I have them... and if you want can make new ones with the dry flowers just let them dry and keep them in a paper bag for the winter and put them in the ground in spring when is not frost any more... I Already have three new ones this year... beautiful and delicates !!!
Looks like a giant zinnia to me. Flower has been open for a while as centre has expanded.
