Painting 3 stories of my 2nd staircase in the house. Talk about a pain in the butt!

Only took me 4 days of painting walls and ceilings too..:/

Mellisa I've got a similar situation. Think I'd rather have a root canal. You can use one of those extention poles, but you still have to climb to cut in the walls with the ceiling. Last time, I painted the ceiling the same color as the wall and it was a little easier, but still a pain in the butt

Hubby wanted NO part of this project as I wanted to take it on myself-silly me for getting crazy ideas. This was a pain in the butt!! I was so excited to use the purple tinted ceiling paint so I could see where I was painting, but by the time I got off the ladder and soaked up paint with the roller and got back on the ladder tha purple on the ceiling had already dried!!! Heck of an ordeal! Def. glad its over:)

Looks like plaster over lathe...and some more of that sweet oak trim and doors. If you have more of this type of work rent one of those stairway width scaffolds...You will have have that Pucker feeling in your back side when you climb up a braced ladder.

the ladder situation sure wasn't my brightest moment, the hubby wasn't too happy once he found out I did that. KMA I hope to NEVER have to use the ladder that one ever again!!!:)
