Vintage Campaign Dresser Makeover

I bought a beat up old vintage campaign dresser from Goodwill for $15 (yes 1-5) and after a little TLC, some elbow grease, and paint, it went from "eww" to "new" for less than $10! For a full makeover tutorial, and to see what happens behind the scenes, visit my blog: http://desertdomicile.blogspot.com/2012/08/1...

I cleaned the hardware with Brasso and while it's not perfect, the imperfections give the piece character :)

Split wood, missing hardware - this dresser was in bad shape when I bought it!

Oh Caitlin, it's gorgeous! I bet you could find the brass pieces for the bottom if you wanted to.

Sharron, you can find your answer here..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campaign_furni...
