Fall decorating doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It’s easy to celebrate the changing of the seasons on a budget with a few simple fall decorating tips.
1. Shop the House: With any mantel decor, you want height. Try twigs in tall vases or urns to increase that height, elongating the look. Try using other vases for pumpkins to provide different levels of height.
2. Repurpose and Reuse: The back drop for the mantel is a barn door that came from a barn. It helps create a rustic elegance. Adding vintage items help create that "haunting" look that work for the whole season not just October.
3. Bring the Outside In: This time of year….nature is in her element. Take a walk and you can fill your mantel with the colors that fall has on display just outside your window. Dried plants are quite beautiful and add a completed look to the "haunting" style.
