Adding molding to the bedroom doors & windows

The bedroom was lacking something so we added lots of molding to around the doors and windows, then painted it white. It really made the room crisp and romantic against the blue paint.
Advice:
Hang the molding a few inches away from the existing molding or the window frame. Paint the molding and the space in between all white. This makes it look like your molding is huge.
This was fairly easy. We used a trick to make the molding look heavier. We hung the molding a few inches away from the existing molding or the window frame and painted the molding and the space in between all white. This makes it look like your molding is huge. Putting a piece in the middle also makes it look heavier.
Materials:
paint, molding, door trim - $0.00
window with molding accents
