Hanging custom headboard on wall in guest room
by
Philip C
(IC: homeowner)
Created a headboard from mdf and batting. Covered with fabric and decorative buttons. Hung on wall. Highlighted with wall sconces.
Advice:
Get help so that the headboard is mounted straight. Make sure you know where you want it--you can't move your furniture around as easily after this!
This is a quick and easy way to dress up any bed with or without a frame. Also update a room by removing old headboard and choosing new fabric for headboard. Lighting is optional but helps create feel of hotel room. Very cheap update.
Materials:
batting, fabric., decorative buttons, mdf, staple gun - $0.00
