Adding a faucet to the new sink
*Options I considered for this project:
We considered a pewter faucet, but decided the porcelain handles on the chrome faucet fit the new vanity better.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
My water pipe was not long enough to reach the drain, and I had to go back to Home Depot one last time. I did not measure correctly.
* Cost Comments:
We picked the right faucet for this bathroom. It was very easy to install, but then again, it was not my first.
*My motivation to do this project:
Bought a new vanity and sink, and needed a faucet. Wanted to update my bathroom.
*Project Steps:
This was the third faucet I had installed in this house, so I was very prepared for the project.
Advice:
Think about the colors when choosing your faucet. You don't want to have a chrome faucet in a bathroom with gold lighting.
Materials:
faucet assembly, plumber's tape, putty and wrench. - $89.00
