Front yard landscaping

by Twyla
I have two beds in my front yard that are in need of major help. I want to make the flower beds exciting and different but on a budget!
*My motivation to do this project:
The flower beds only have bushes now and no color or exciting decorative objects.
The bed is very plain and uninspired.
I would like to change out the edging economically also.
There is landscapers netting and mulch only.

You can do so much with that area. Planting Silver Queen or more Accent grass may help define the area more with small areas of flowers to keep the cost down. I have planted silver queen in my yard as a boarder to my flower bed and it grows fast. It's the best time now to plant tulip blubs for the Spring.

A handful of bearded irises will look nice, and they will spread quickly to fill the space.
