The ceiling fan mount is a bit of a project for an electrician, because the fan mounting box has to be anchored into the joists. This is a semi skilled project.

I have all Hunter or Hampton Bay fans. I prefer Hampton Bay since they are more affordable and have always worked well. On a side note, would you mind letting me know what paint (color, brand) you used in the one picture? I like the sage greenish color a lot and I am currently trying to pick a paint color for my kitchen. Thanks!
