Metalic wallpaper

I replaced a vanity for a client last week. This was in a student rental and the old cabinet was on its last legs. Understandably so since it was original to the apartment...I'm guessing early 70's by what was behind.
She was wondering why the walls had this funky texture job...when the wall paper was removed it took some the drywall paper with it...they took a short cut and did a splatter knock down.
I brought this scrap home to show my girls...they actually loved it...sorry I not going to remodel your bath in paisley and aluminum foil.

Candi A on Aug 27, 2012All right..wallpaper horror story...years ago had a house that, should have been torn down to remodel, but I digress...upstairs bedroom..5 layers of CEILING paper..and 7 of WALLPAPER...will never forget it, esp since we found out at the beginning that dh was allergic to wallpaper paste...grr. haven't looked at wallpaper the same since.
