How to turn a wooden stand into a planter with hanging clay pots

A few months ago, someone gave us some wooden stands. I turned one of them into a plant stand for our back deck. Plastic pot holders were used to attach some painted terracotta pots to the stand. You can read more about how I did it on our blog.

Z on Aug 27, 2012I found some online.... http://www.amazon.com/Hang-Up-Holders-Holder-Mounting-Screws/dp/B007BR6ZB8 Nine for $35.99 but with $8.99 shipping I'm thinking I'll keep searching. That works out to five dollars each. Not bad, but you can also make them using wood.

Jane@Cottage at the Crossroads on Aug 27, 2012Yes, I saw those, too. I was comparing the price of those to what I paid. I got a special price at the flower show, but according to the man's brochure, his usual price is 8 for $35, and $5.50 for shipping and handling. So the prices are similar.
