Fall Mantel

I love decorating my mantel, especially for fall. Fall is a great time to play up different colors and textures.
I wanted my fall mantel to be really multi-dimensional. The mirror and stained glass window are always present on my mantel and I love to work them in to all my mantel scales.
To balance the height of the stained glass window, I added some reclaimed barn wood to the left of the mirror.
I added some sparkle with a gold framed chalkboard. And boxwood is a great way to add color and texture.
Cake pedestals add height to my vintage music sheet pumpkins.
I also used some old candle sticks to elevate the smaller pumpkins.
And I added a little more texture and shine with a coppery spray painted pumpkin, straw and a vintage grain scoop. For more of my Fall home tour please visit me at: http://chiccalifornia.com/2014/09/24/fall-home-tour/
