I have a bedside table that has the top damaged, but the rest is still in great condition. I would like some ideas as to what could be added to the top.
If no luck use medium oak with a tiny bit of brown added. Test out colour before using on piece. Maybe underneath?
Oh boy, I did this to my mom's Ethan Allen coffee table when I was small. Not good, she had to keep a doily on that table for years. I would try to sand that spot out slightly, but honestly, it might be really hard to match the spot perfectly. Might be better off to gently sand the entire veneer top and give it a new coat of stain all over.
