The front yard transformation

After spending the summer breaking up and hauling away 4 1/2 tons of blacktop, bringing in 2 tons of topsoil, building a fence, installing an arbor, landscaping, and brick laying, we were able to change our front yard parking lot into a thing of beauty.

I cannot believe the difference!! That must have been hard for you to get used to as well. You must have spent a good deal of time sitting on the step, and looking around with total joy! I love the style of your fence, and the arbor makes for a big welcome. You must have the best looking front yard in the neighborhood. Tons of work, but every bit of it shows!

Becky, it was that way when we purchased it. The previous owner worked for an asphalt company. I guess he didn't like yard work. And yes, I spend a lot of time out there now just looking at it. =)
