I refinished an octagon side table, I literally found on the curb in someone's trash pile for free, into a vibrant doggy bed!

Sheryll S on Jun 04, 2014I have been wanting to make a window seat kind of doggy kennel in my tiny bedroom. I want to do 2/3's of the length for my three babies and 1/3 for me instead of drawers. Does that make sense. I have been dreaming over Ana White's design, but she says you need a Kreg jig, so that is on my wish list too. Your's is just so pretty, but I have very limited space.... so it has to be 'custom' built also.

Pea5666043 on Aug 01, 2016I have this octagon table....I have been moving it from the garage back to my work room, back to the garage, and back to my work room and back to the garage, WAITING for inspiration to strike.... I have done several other projects and keep pushing this table back because I just haven't had anything hit me. Seeing your adorable doggie bed has given me inspiration.... I have a dog and a cat and we are probably getting a puppy soon. Thanks for the idea!!! I'm going to steal it OK? Hope mine is half as cute as yours
