wall paper backsplash

3po3 on Sep 17, 2012Maybe your question got cut off, but I think you are asking about using wallpaper as a backsplash. I have never done this, but I would note that backsplashes serve a functional purpose beyond looking nice. I think you would either need some really sturdy wallpaper or maybe a layer of plexiglass or glass over the wallpaper.1 marked as helpful Reply

Chris B on Sep 18, 2012I have a wallpaper backsplash that has been up now about 10 yrs and have had no problem with it. Most wallpaper these days are really durable and occasionally I take a damp paper towel to wipe it down. It has held up extremely well even with 5 kids.1 marked as helpful Reply

CeCe Graphenteen on Nov 11, 2015I have used the paintable wallpaper that looks like pressed tin...I painted the whole thing white and the raised design yellow (my kitchen color at the time). It looked like hand-painted (read: expensive lol) tiles and lasted for years!Helpful Reply
