For years I wondered how to make the most out of this awkwardly shaped closet under our stairs. After it's recent transformation, I think it is worthy of being called a "Butler's Pantry"...even if a butler doesn't come with it! I placed a metal rack on one side for extra storage and placed a wine fridge on the bottom. A drop cloth curtain attached using Velcro hides paper towels and napkins. I also made a Hanging Wine Rack using an old cabinet door and attaching metal glass holders underneath. A chalkboard was made out of an old TV tray. Carpet was replaced with peel and stick flooring and the entire space got a fresh coat of paint. Vintage Silver trays displayed on the wall add the perfect finishing touch!
