DIY Mitten Ornaments (No Knitting Required!)

I recently shared my family's new stockings that I made using sweaters I rescued from the Goodwill donation bag. I had a bunch of scraps left over and I just couldn't bring myself to throw them away...and I'm glad I didn't. I used some of them to make these sweet mitten ornaments!
Making them was super simple...here's how:
The beads are my favorite detail. I strung them with very fine fishing line.
I love how they contrast with the more rugged sweater fabric!
I used the finished edge of the sweater for the wrist portion of this pair.
But I cut these from the body of the sweater and just cut the wrists a bit longer and sewed under at the wrist. Just as cute!
