Tips For Setting a New Years Table To Dazzle
To add drama and festive elements to my New Year's Eve Tablescape for 2014, I decided to keep the centerpiece simple with pine and dark calla lilies (tutorial on the site), and added tall gold candleholders along with small black candles.
To add sparkle to the tabletop, I added a sheer fabric with golden palettes on top of a plain black tablecloth. Adding gold flatware and simple glassware also plays up the sparkle set atop the table.
New Years is all about fun, so to add a little kitsch, I folded napkins into little black bow-ties. To see the tutorial for the napkin fold, visit the post on the site.
